Meet Mrs. Wolf
My Background
I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, the birthplace of Henry Ford and the assembly line. I attended the University of Michigan where I earned my teaching degree. I later earned my first Master's degree at Eastern University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I taught many different grade levels (K-5) during my Michigan career. My husband, Joel, and I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999. I completed my second Master's degree in Educational Leadership at University of Nevada: Las Vegas. During my Las Vegas career, I have taught second, third, and fourth grade and will be teaching fifth grade science during the 2024-25 school year.
My Classroom Philosophy
Dr. Seuss was a creatively whimsical author. . . one of my favorites. He has said many wonderful and insightful things about the importance of education, many of which are applied daily in our class.
"So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains!" - Oh, the Places You'll Go!
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." - I Can Read with My Eyes shut!
"Think left and think right, and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!" - Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!
Mrs. Wolf couldn't say it any better!
